President of Western Steel and Wire

Allen Timmons is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of expertise in manufacturing and business operations. Residing in San Francisco, he holds a bachelor of science in engineering from Ohio University. Furthering his education, he achieved an MBA from Oklahoma City University and a PhD in business from the University of Phoenix.

Starting his career at BTR/Toyota, Allen served as a process engineering manager in Frederick, Oklahoma. He dedicated nearly ten years to the company, culminating in his role as the plant manager in Hayward, California. During his tenure, he was instrumental in enhancing productivity and profit metrics.

In addition to his time at BTR/Toyota, Allen has held leadership positions at various manufacturing firms, including LAM Research. Since 2015, he has been at the helm of Western Steel & Wire, Northern California’s premier supplier of wire products. Under his leadership, the company witnessed a 300% surge in sales over eight years. Allen is not only responsible for strategic planning, sales, and profit and loss at Western Steel & Wire but also maintains a harmonious relationship with the Iron Workers union officials.

A testament to his innovative spirit, Mr. Timmons co-holds a patent for sign stakes, with other patents including layering pins and S&L stakes.

Outside the realm of work, Allen is an avid outdoorsman, indulging in activities like hiking, cycling, and golf. He also cherishes quality time with his family.
